Pahalgam Attack Aftermath: Long Leaves Cancelled at Ordnance Factories

Amid rising tensions with Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack, Munitions India Limited (MIL) has cancelled long leaves at most of its 12 ordnance factories, permitting only two-day leaves for the next two months. While some officials state the cancellation is due to missed production targets and global export pressures, others suggest it is related to national security concerns. The Department of Defence Production clarified that no official circular was issued, although some factories have internally advised employees to refrain from taking leave.
