Fresh encounter breaks out in J&K's Poonch; 1 soldier injured

A fresh encounter occurred between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Monday night, specifically in Lasana village of Surankote, following a search operation based on intelligence regarding terrorist presence. One Army personnel sustained injuries during the exchange of fire and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The Army reported that additional troops have been deployed, and ongoing search operations aim to prevent the terrorists from escaping, as confirmed by the Jammu-based White Knight Corps via X.
