Six pedestrians, including five UPSC aspirants, were injured in central Delhi’s Old Rajinder Nagar after being hit by a car driven by an intoxicated man, who was promptly arrested. The injured were taken to the hospital, with one possibly needing further treatment, while the driver’s alcohol levels are being determined. Locals and students are demanding justice and better pedestrian safety measures in the area due to ongoing construction and lack of speed breakers.
