BJP alleges Ram Navami violence in Kolkata, targets TMC and Mamata Banerjee; Police reacts

The West Bengal BJP alleged that Hindu devotees carrying saffron flags were attacked near Kolkata’s Park Circus after a Ram Navami procession, blaming CM Mamata Banerjee for the incident. Kolkata Police denied the procession took place but acknowledged vehicle damage and are investigating, advising the public to ignore rumors. The BJP president accused the police of remaining silent and spineless, warning that next year’s procession would be bigger.
