12-ton whale removed from beach in DR Congo

A 12-tonne whale has been recovered from the beaches of Muanda after washing ashore on the Atlantic coast. Officials utilized a 42-tonne crane to successfully remove the whale following two days of unsuccessful attempts with tractors and other equipment, as onlookers gathered to witness the operation.
