Indian Navy's maiden initiative of IOS Sagar concludes its harbour and sea training phase at Kochi

The Indian Navy’s maiden initiative, Indian Ocean Ship Sagar (IOS Sagar), completed its harbour and sea training phase at Southern Naval Command, Kochi. The international crew underwent training in various maritime activities, including communication skills, firefighting, and simulator training. The crew also had sea training with INS Sunayna to familiarize themselves with Indian Navy’s systems. This initiative aims to enhance maritime expertise, promote regional stability, and strengthen cooperation in the Indian Ocean Region.
