Weapons, violence cannot bring change, peace can: Home Minister Amit Shah's message after Sukma Naxal encounter

Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised the security forces for their success in a major anti-Naxal operation in Sukma, Chhattisgarh, where 16 Naxalites were eliminated and a significant cache of automatic weapons was seized. Shah reiterated the government’s commitment, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to eradicate Naxalism by March 31, 2026, calling it a decisive blow to the insurgency. He urged those involved in armed rebellion to choose peace and development over violence and weapons.
