Exercise 'Varuna' achieved its aim of enhanced jointmanship: Indian Navy

The India-France naval exercise ‘Varuna’, held from March 19-22, aimed at enhancing jointmanship and upholding a rules-based maritime order, successfully achieving these goals according to Indian Navy officials. The drills provided valuable operational experience and reinforced the commitment to address contemporary maritime security challenges, strengthening the collective capacity of both navies. The 23rd edition featured complex manoeuvres across sub-surface, surface, and air domains, showcasing a high degree of operational coordination and partnership between India and France.
