Talks on a ceasefire in Russia’s war with Ukraine are set to continue in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Sunday, according to US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff. Following a phone call between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Witkoff stated that discussions on a ceasefire deal, including agreements on energy infrastructure and targets in the Black Sea, have been reached with the Russians, expressing hope that the Ukrainians will also agree to the terms.
