The funds will be used for pan-European capability domains like air and missile defence, artillery systems, and cyber needs, aiming to reduce costs and increase interoperability. EU leaders will discuss the proposal at a special summit, with the potential for EU countries to spend up to 800 billion euros on defence projects.
