Two Naxalites gunned down in encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh

Two Naxalites were killed in a gunfight with security personnel in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district during an anti-Naxalite operation in a forest area under the Kistaram police station. The operation, involving the DRG and CoBRA units, was launched based on intelligence about Maoist presence, resulting in the recovery of the bodies of the Naxalites. This encounter marks the 83rd Naxalite fatality in the state this year, with 67 of them occurring in the Bastar division, including Sukma.
