Mizoram: Assam Rifles, Police recover arms and ammunition in joint operations; three arrested

Assam Rifles and Mizoram Police conducted joint operations in Mizoram, leading to the arrest of three individuals and recovery of arms and ammunition in Lawngtlai town and Saiha district. The apprehended individuals and recovered items were handed over to Mizoram Police for legal proceedings. Additionally, security forces conducted search operations in vulnerable areas, while members of ‘Arambai Tengol’ surrendered their arms to the Manipur government following a meeting with Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on February 25.
