India, Japan kickstart two-week mega wargame

The Armies of India and Japan have commenced a two-week wargame at a Japanese military base near Mount Fuji to strengthen bilateral defense ties. The ‘Dharma Guardian’ exercise will feature an expanded range of activities reflecting the increased defense cooperation between the two countries. Amid concerns over China’s military presence in the Indo-Pacific region, the joint drills will focus on counter-terror operations in urban terrain, marking a significant milestone in the enhanced scale of the exercise.
