CCS clears Army's Rs 10,000 crore Pinaka rocket deal; Solar, MIL to manufacture

The Cabinet Committee on Security has approved a Rs 10,000 crore acquisition of ammunition for the Indian Army’s Pinaka multi-barrel rocket launcher systems, including Area Denial Munitions and Pinaka Enhanced Range rockets. Solar Industries and Munitions India Limited will produce the ammunition.
