Yemen's Houthi rebels unilaterally release 153 war detainees, Red Cross says

Yemen’s Houthi rebels have released 153 war detainees in an effort to ease tensions, following their controversial detention of seven U.N. workers which prompted strong condemnation from the United Nations. The Red Cross has applauded the release as a positive step towards resuming negotiations to end Yemen’s ongoing conflict.
