Paras Defence plans to invest Rs 12,000 crore to establish India’s first optics park in Maharashtra, with the project set to begin in 2028 and continue until 2035. The initiative aims to create a technology hub for defence, space, automotive, semiconductor, and other sectors, generating over 2,000 job opportunities and supporting the ‘Make in India’ campaign. The Maharashtra government has pledged support for the project, emphasizing its potential to boost domestic manufacturing and position India as a global innovation center.
