A major defence system, Trajan 155 mm towed artillery gun, developed jointly by India and France, has secured an export order from Armenia, showcasing the success of co-development and Indian low-cost manufacturing. The artillery system, tested by the Indian Army, includes indigenous subsystems and will be delivered in the coming months, supporting Armenia’s modernization efforts and solidifying India as a key partner in supplying military equipment.
