India successfully conducted field evaluation trials of the indigenously-developed third-generation anti-tank guided missile Nag Mk-2 at Pokhran firing range in Rajasthan, in the presence of senior Army officers. The trials validated the missile system’s firing range by accurately destroying all targets within maximum and minimum range, including the Nag missile carrier version-2. The Defence Ministry confirmed that the entire weapon system is now ready for induction into the Indian Army, with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh commending DRDO, the Indian Army, and industry for the successful trials.
