Situation along LAC stable, sensitive: Defence Ministry

The defence ministry reported that the Line of Actual Control situation is stable but sensitive, with patrolling resumed in disputed areas following an agreement with China, removing blocking positions and establishing new patrolling protocols. Disengagement at Ladakh flashpoints has occurred, but larger de-escalation is pending. Additionally, defence exports reached a record high, and the ministry signed numerous acquisition contracts and approved procurements worth ₹4.2 lakh crore in the year.
