Five scribes among 26 killed in Israeli strike

Gaza authorities claimed that five Palestinian journalists were killed in an Israeli airstrike outside a hospital, while the Israeli army stated that the victims were actually Islamic Jihad militants posing as media workers. The Palestinian Journalists Union reported that the journalists were from Al-Quds Today channel and were in a broadcast vehicle during the strike. The Israeli military maintained that the strike targeted an Islamic Jihad terrorist cell in accordance with their guidelines.
