Indian, Vietnam Coast Guards conduct joint sea exercise off Kochi

The Vietnam Coast Guard Ship CSB 8005 departed Kochi after a successful visit to strengthen partnership with the Indian Coast Guard, aimed at enhancing maritime cooperation and interoperability between the two forces. The visit included a comprehensive sea exercise named Sahayog Hop Tac off Kochi, focusing on maritime security issues such as Pollution Response, Visit Board Search and Seizure Operations, and Search and Rescue drills, showcasing the expertise and capabilities of the Indian Coast Guard in various missions. The exercise also involved joint training to neutralize asymmetric threats, further solidifying the collaboration between the two maritime forces.
