At the annual Navy Day press conference, Indian Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi highlighted the growing partnership between Pakistan and China in naval development, noting that many Pakistan Navy warships and submarines are being built with Chinese support. He emphasized India’s awareness of Pakistan’s acquisition of eight new submarines and its defense strategies to address the evolving regional naval dynamics. Admiral Tripathi also expressed concern over Pakistan’s ambitious goal of expanding its navy to 50 ships, prioritizing weapons over the welfare of its population.
