India, Japan resolve to boost co-development of military hardware

India and Japan discussed a reciprocal provision of supply and services agreement for military interoperability amid concerns over China’s military activities. The defence ministers agreed to enhance cooperation in co-production of military hardware and explore new areas in the air domain. They also emphasized the importance of defence industry and technology cooperation, with a recent MoI signed for the co-development of UNICORN mast for warships.
