The armies of India and China have agreed to conduct coordinated patrols once a week in the Demchok and Depsang areas in eastern Ladakh. They have completed one round of patrolling in these areas after disengagement in October. Each side will conduct one patrol per week, alternating between Indian and Chinese troops. Ground commanders will continue to engage regularly in these areas.
