The Israel Defence Ministry is coordinating with the German Federal Ministry of Defence for the deployment of the Arrow-3 missile interception system in Germany in 2025, following a $3.5 billion deal last year. The Arrow system, developed with U.S. assistance, includes Arrow-2 and Arrow-3 interceptors to counter long-range ballistic missile threats. Germany’s increased defence spending comes in the wake of Russia’s actions in Ukraine, with the Arrow systems proving effective against Iranian missile attacks.
