Three Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district, with personnel from various units involved in the operation based on Maoist presence in the area. The bodies of the Naxalites, along with weapons and ammunition, were recovered, and the search operation is ongoing. This marks a total of 192 Naxalites killed in encounters in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar region, including Bijapur, with a recent operation resulting in the recovery of 31 bodies in a forest along the border of Narayanpur-Dantewada districts.
