'New-age terrorism faceless, borderless': Amit Shah

Union home minister Amit Shah announced at an anti-terrorism conference that a national counterterrorism policy will be introduced to combat the new age of faceless and borderless terrorism. He highlighted the success of the integrated plan to control funding of terrorism and the establishment of the National Memory Bank, resulting in a 70% reduction in terror incidents. Shah emphasized the importance of coordination among agencies, the designation of terrorist organizations, and the NIA’s high conviction rate in investigating cases under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
