Indian companies on global US sanctions list will not impact defence ecosystem

Indian companies in New Delhi sanctioned by the US for supplying dual-use items to Russia are not heavily involved in the domestic defence ecosystem, with only one having limited ties to DRDO and the armed forces. Among the 19 Indian firms sanctioned, some are primarily engaged in trading activities, including Denvas Services, which supplies digital kiosks. RRG Engineering, the only company with links to the Indian defence ecosystem, has been accused of supplying microelectronics to a Russia-based entity.
