The United States has received information that there are 8,000 North Korean troops in Russia’s Kursk region, as stated by deputy U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Robert Wood. Wood questioned the Russian representative about the presence of DPRK troops in Russia, but received no response. The issue of North Korean troops in Russia remains unresolved in the Security Council.
