Two cadres of the proscribed outfit People’s Liberation Army were arrested by Assam Rifles in Manipur’s Tengnoupal district and handed over to the police. The arrested individuals, N Priyo Singh and S Devjit Singh, were taken to Pallel Police Station. In separate incidents, security forces also apprehended a member of the banned Prepak (Pro) group and recovered weapons in different search operations in the state.
