Need to change mindset to keep pace with evolving times: CDS to defence stakeholders

Chief of Defence Staff Gen Anil Chauhan emphasized the need for a change in mindset and urged stakeholders in the defence sector to embrace fusion and synergy to achieve ‘atmanirbharta’ during the inauguration of the national conference on Technology Management (TECHMA 2024). He stressed the importance of innovative ideas to benefit the armed forces and the nation, calling for a shift to keep up with evolving times. The conference, themed ‘Technology Management in Defence Sector for Vision India @2047’, aims to align defence technologies with the goal of self-reliance by 2047 and includes discussions on futuristic technologies and strengthening indigenous capabilities.
