At least five people were killed and 22 others injured in an attack on the headquarters of Turkish Aerospace Industries near Ankara, according to Turkiye’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya. Turkish President Erdogan condemned the attack as a “heinous terrorist attack,” and local media footage showed smoke and fire at the site. Yerlikaya stated that the attack was likely linked to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), and an investigation has been initiated to identify the perpetrators.
