Hezbollah says it will cause Israel pain but also calls for ceasefire

Hezbollah’s deputy chief Naim Qassem stated that the group would bring “pain” to Israel while calling for a ceasefire amidst ongoing conflict in south Lebanon. Qassem emphasized the need for an agreement to allow settlers to return to the north post-ceasefire, with Israel intensifying its operations in Lebanon to secure the return of displaced residents. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue attacking Hezbollah throughout Lebanon, following an escalation of hostilities.
