The Department of Planning’s Economic Survey in Uttarakhand estimated the per capita income for the financial year 2024-25 to be Rs 2.74 lakh, showing an 11.33% increase from the previous year and surpassing the national per capita income. The Gross State Domestic Product is projected to reach Rs 3.78 lakh crore in FY 2024-25, with a growth of 13.59%, and the installation of smart meters aims to reduce complaints related to meter readings and bills, offering discounts for prepaid meter users and targeting 15.88 lakh consumers by June 2026.
