BT is reportedly in advanced talks to sell its 50% stake in UK broadcaster TNT Sports to Warner Bros Discovery, potentially concluding BT’s sports broadcasting involvement after more than a decade. The deal, which could be announced alongside BT’s full-year results next week, comes as BT’s CEO Allison Kirkby aims to refocus the company on its core mobile and broadband services, given TNT’s significant losses and competitive pressures.
