Sridhar Vembu, co-founder and CEO of Zoho, is stepping down to become Chief Scientist, focusing on R&D and rural development. Shailesh Kumar Davey will take over as Group CEO, with Tony Thomas leading US operations, Rajesh Ganesan heading ManageEngine, and Mani Vembu overseeing Zoho.com. Vembu, a former engineer at Qualcomm, built Zoho into a major SaaS company with over 100 million users and a net worth of $5.85 billion, ranking him 39th on Forbes’ list of richest Indians in 2024.
