An internet security expert, Adam Burns from Blackveil, has identified new security flaws in ManageMyHealth’s website and app following a recent hack. Conducting a voluntary, non-intrusive assessment, he found vulnerabilities that could be detected by any internet user, although they were not directly linked to the hack itself. Burns noted that similar issues are common across New Zealand websites, with about half showing security concerns in his past evaluations. These vulnerabilities may arise from increased exposure after an intrusion.
