A 20-year-old driver, Andrew Dykstra, lost his appeal for permanent name suppression after a dangerous rampage in Auckland, including ramming a police car and swerving onto a busy walkway. Dykstra, sentenced to 18 months of intensive supervision for multiple charges, had previously been released from jail shortly before the incidents.
