A Comancheros member, Mormon Fa’alogo, has been denied his appeal against a conviction for severely assaulting a woman, resulting in serious injuries including a collapsed lung. The High Court deemed his explanation for her injuries “patently implausible.” Despite the victim’s attempt to undermine the charges, she testified for the defense during the trial, asserting Fa’alogo’s innocence. His defense argued that the trial judge’s conclusion contradicted the testimonies of the only two witnesses present during the incident.
