Young shoves, Columbia Falls shuts out Ronan

In a high school baseball game on Apr. 8, Columbia Falls defeated Ronan 12-0, with Nico Young pitching a five-inning, four-hit shutout and Jory Hill contributing two hits and two RBIs. The Wildcats scored four runs in the third and fifth innings to secure the win under the mercy rule, with Reggie Sapa and Trenton DeRosa also making key contributions. Despite three Ronan pitchers issuing seven walks, Columbia Falls’ strong offense, led by Young and Pitts, secured the victory.
