Spotify is integrating its Jam feature into cars equipped with Android Auto and Google built-in, allowing drivers to start a Jam session directly from their car’s infotainment system. This feature, which debuted in September 2023, enables passengers to contribute to playlists by scanning a QR code displayed in the car. Expected to roll out in the coming months across over 500 compatible car models, this enhancement aims to streamline music sharing during road trips, with additional plans for streaming video and browser apps in the Android Auto ecosystem.
