Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led government will convene a crucial meeting to address incidents of spitting in food, proposing measures such as the ‘Prevention of Pseudo and Anti-Harmony Activities and Prohibition of Spitting Ordinance 2024’ and ‘UP Prevention of Contamination in Food (Consumer Right to Know) Ordinance 2024’. Scheduled for 6:30 pm, the meeting will include officials like Additional Chief Secretary Home Deepak Kumar and DGP Sanjeev Gupta to discuss stringent actions against such activities.
