A former financial adviser, Murray McClune, pleaded guilty to stealing approximately $1.7 million from elderly clients, facing up to seven years in prison. Between 2016 and 2022, he misappropriated funds meant for investment, using falsified statements to conceal his unauthorized activities and fund his personal expenses.
