The United Nations reported that Yemen’s Huthi rebels detained at least 11 UN workers during raids on UN premises, following the killing of their prime minister by Israel, with a total of 23 UN personnel currently detained. UN envoy Hans Grundberg condemned the arbitrary detentions, emphasizing that they violate the safety and dignity of UN staff, while the Huthis vowed to escalate attacks on Israel in response to the strike that killed their official.
