More than 50 personnel from various organizations are being held by Houthi authorities in Sana’a, including four UN staff members detained since 2021 and 2023. The UN and humanitarian agencies are calling for the protection of aid workers and access to detained colleagues in accordance with international law. Additionally, the Global Fund is providing $9.5 million to assist the DRC in responding to a deadly mpox outbreak in several provinces, including Kinshasa.
