Christopher Bell, 45, was sentenced to three years in jail after his out-of-control American bully XL dog, Titan, fatally attacked his neighbor Ian Langley in Shiney Row near Sunderland. Bell pleaded guilty to being the owner of the dog which caused injury leading to death while dangerously out of control in a public place. Despite Bell’s panicked call to emergency services, Langley succumbed to catastrophic neck injuries, prompting police to shoot Titan at the scene for public safety.
