On January 8, Nathaniel Salmon committed to Washington State’s football program, becoming one of coach Kirby Moore’s eight offseason additions. A 6-foot-5, 245-pound tight end from New Zealand, Salmon previously played professional basketball and only started football in 2024 after being selected for the NFL’s International Player Pathway. He trained at IMG Academy and has drawn interest from several Power 5 programs. Salmon’s impressive 4.63-second 40-yard dash and skills in route-running and blocking showcase his potential impact on WSU’s offense.
