A Mexican wrestler known as Misterius suffered a cervical sprain and a fractured collarbone during a showcase match, where he fell badly after a rope snapped during a Spanish Fly move. Despite initial rumors of paralysis, he was thankfully not paralyzed, and received prompt medical attention with support from fellow wrestlers Hijo del Santo and LA Park.
