A new and highly potent drug called cychlorphine, 200 times stronger than heroin, has emerged in London, contributing to at least 13 deaths and numerous overdoses. Volunteers from Streets Kitchen report increased anxiety among rough sleepers as the drug is often unknowingly mixed into other substances. The Metropolitan Police have arrested 11 individuals for distributing this dangerous substance. The drug is suspected to be manufactured in poorly regulated labs in India and China, complicating detection and enforcement efforts.
