Working from home: is it working?

In the UK, the government plans to grant workers the right to request working from home (WFH), while some companies like Amazon are mandating in-office work citing benefits of collaboration and culture. However, other businesses like HSBC and Clifford Chance are downsizing office spaces in anticipation of WFH becoming permanent. The government is also considering making flexible working the default, despite mixed evidence on productivity and concerns about government overreach.
